“When you remember me, it means that you have carried something of who I am with you, that I have left some mark of who I am on who you are. It means that you can summon me back to your mind even though countless years and miles may stand between us. It means that […]

L.A. school food

Posted by greglarson in Uncategorized at 4:29 pm | Permanent Link

At Elisabeth’s huge middle school that she attends, there are these ‘food vendors’ that just show up right before school ends. I assume that they are not licensed by the city, because they have abandoned grocery carts for stands.

But, just like clockwork every day — they get surrounded by kids buying their wares (corn on […]

One is in Little Canada (on the […]

Madeleine L’Engle in Glimpses of Grace

Madeleine L’Engle is (was) an amazing author.

If you have a chance - take a minute to read something she wrote. Sadly, she passed away recently. Here is one of my favorite L’Engle quotes: “Why does anybody tell a story?” Ms. L’Engle once asked, even though she knew the answer. “It does indeed have something […]

…met my good friend Jernard today.

Great guy (in spite of his mean look here), loves Jesus and is keeping the faith in spite of huge health issues going on in his family, and it seems like some big doors are opening up for him out here in Hollywood. Keep him in your prayers if you […]

Posted by greglarson in Friends, Los Angeles, news at 9:45 am | Permanent Link

Not sure if you have been following the news in Burma (Myanmar) of late, but terrible things are going on. Tens of thousands were marching in the streets for freedom, and it was violently crushed.
HERE is a link regarding it.
