Not sure if you watched the Emmy’s here recently, but comedian Kathy Griffin had an unbelievable part in her acceptance speech (that actually got cut from the final showing)…

“A lot of people come up here and thank Jesus for this award. I want you to know that no one had less to do with this award than Jesus,” an exultant Griffin said, holding up her statuette. “Suck it, Jesus. This award is my god now.”

Funny that it was cut… seems like it would play in a lot of places.

I pity Kathy Griffin. As I type this message from a hostel in London, I am listening to a movie being played in the background making a mockery of Jesus and Jews. It seems like everywhere you go, people are really letting us know how much they hate God. More and more, I feel less afraid to tell people about who the real Jesus is, no matter what the cost… they need to know… man, I know a lot of people would tell me to “not be surprised” by a comment like that made from Kathy Griffin but seriously, I don’t practice a “too bad for them” kind of Christianity… I’m in this as a soldier… through fire, fury, everything wonderful about following God and everything displeasing that comes along with it…

so, how are you doing greg? =)
