sacred journeys

Once a month Kairos is using the space we are in, to hold concerts. We do this for a few reasons — one is to simply support the artist/musician(s). So far, we have had just musicians (with bands and a solo artist - having a CD release party), but we hope to expand that to many different types of artists besides music. Another reason we are doing this, is to raise money for the orphanages that we work with in the Turkana region of Kenya.

A couple of weeks ago we had a musician (Josh Garrels — here is his MySpace Music profile)- come to the Fountain Room as we call our Kairos sanctuary. He was an amazing musician.

Many people showed up and came in contact with an aspect of our ministry here at Kairos, we raised some money for Kenya, and we got to chill and listen to some great music.
