men’s camping trip

so, Caleb & I are going with about 20 guys from Kairos out into the wilderness in a couple of weekends. I don’t know if camping is the correct term — more like wilderness survival. We are going out hours from civilization, hike way out somewhere, we will make our own camp sites, leave no trace behind the next day & hike some more. (hopefully I won’t disappear without a trace
)
For anyone that knows me well — they know — this is way (& I mean way) out of my comfort zone.
Yikes - wish me well out here….

Okay, Glendale may seem like the wilderness, but it is just a suburb. Los Angeles has changed you, man.
Kidding… Where did you go?

Kevin - we will be going on Memorial weekend to Los Padres National Forest — just north of Ojai. Are you familiar with that area? I have not been up that way, but I believe it is a couple of hours from LA/Hollywood.

dont feed the bears. I know they are cute and cudly but they get aggrevated when you don’t share your granola with them. also, what ever you do, do not ever, ever, no matter what…

…that is a good one Josh. Thanks for being sensitive to my fears & hangups about camping.
It is great hearing from you! How are Gena & Sisley doing?
It still would be great to connect on the phone sometime. Maybe we can do that like we were going to a while back — during your commute. Would that work?

Everyone is doing great. yeah I will email you so we can figure something out, but I would love to hook up via phone soon.
also if it is raining and the hair on your arms starts to stand up it is not a “God experience” take cover:)
