snow in Los Angeles ??

We thought moving out to L.A. — we would escape the snow. Well, okay - technically the snow was not in L.A. — just very close. And 30 degree weather at times when we would wake up this last week.
Snow began to fall in the hills along Angeles Crest above Los Angeles Wednesday and for Prapat Vongbun, of Thailand, it was the first time he’s ever been in it. (Carlos Chavez / LA Times) –Jan 17, 2007
Also the states citrus crops have suffered almost a billion dollars in damage…
