Clippers game

Last night, I had a chance to go to the Clippers vs. Celtics game, courtesy of a new friend out here (Josh) that I am getting to know. He got a couple of free tickets from a friend of his, and so we got to sit in $60 seats at the Staples Center for free.
We both commented on the fact that we would have never paid $60 for these seats; especially for the Clippers. From all of the empty seats last night, it appears that L.A. is still a Lakers town.
Anyway, it was a really enjoyable evening with Josh. We even got access with our seats to the ‘Royal Room’, which I thought might be a place where I could bump into some movie stars or something. No such luck however — it was simply a semi-private bar, that we walked in and walked out of.
Another nice thing is how easy it is to get to Staples from home. Simply about 15 minutes on the Metro…
and I was there.
