well, we made it to California last night…
(sorry did not update the blog yesterday - something was going on with my wireless that I could not get on-line.)
After 2.5 days of driving, the 2nd day — through some amazingly beautiful country in Colorado & Utah…
…we finally arrived at a (new) friend’s place last night in West Hollywood (he is out of the country in Africa on a missions trip). So, we can stay here for up to 13 days — until we find a place of our own.
We also drove right through Las Vegas yesterday. We took an exit & drove down the ’strip’ — never been there before - that is a crazy place! The kids loved every second of it.

Glad to hear that you and the family arrived safely. It’s a long drive, but as you said…there are some beautiful sites along the way. Good luck in finding a place to live!
