travelogue for the day

On the road again…
talking to some more people about GCM, LA, Kairos, our family, etc.
Met a guy today in Big Lake, Minnesota (seemed like I was driving to North Dakota) — who is a contractor, & what a heart for the Lord he has. Also, while I was there - 50 miles from home — ran into a couple that used to go to The Rock, the church that I was with for a number of years — small world.
The wife took a minute to pray for me - what a great couple they are also — & not sure if she prayed this specific verse, or her prayer just reminded me of this –
Exodus 31:8 The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
That is what I needed to hear today, with only a little over a month to go with our move to L.A. — at times it can be a little daunting & even overwhelming- everything that we have to do between now & then. It is good to remember — ‘The Lord will go (& is going…) before us.”
