path of least resistance

There have been some things that have come up recently, that have taken the wind out of my sails.
Hard things, unexpected things, confusing things….
But it has led me to think about the verse in Psalm 139: 23 & 24 –”Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.”
A friend also shared this quote with me, totally unaware of all of the things I am going through right now:
“The Path of least resistance usually leads you to a destination not worth getting to”
Prayer for your fellow sojourner (me 
) — that the destination is supremely worth getting to, through all of these things.
